“True joy is in the experience and passion of producing creative work that inspires, gratifies, stretches the creative limits and leaves a feeling of accomplishment.” Carol Leben _____________________________________________ It was my ardent search for fulfillment and the meaning of life that brought me full circle to pursuing my art. I had dutifully hopped on numerous career paths in corporate environments, unaware that I was smothering the very creativity that kept me wanting for something more - - which always seemed just out of reach. On each path I took I reverted back to my ‘fish out of water’ state of mind, always feeling unfulfilled. Although my creative journey began at a very young age, I was a late bloomer in pursuing my real passion, always opting for the school of hard knocks. I took many wrong turns in the road, but came out wiser and very appreciative for the lessons learned. Today, the sense of inner freedom and satisfaction I get from doing my art feels natural and feels like home. Writing about myself is a chore, so I’ll just share one story that deepened my resolve to pursue a creative life, to travel further along my spiritual path and to be very grateful for the fact that I have life.
