As the artist it’s my job to create a unique and wonderful design for you.

 STEP 1:  I will come to your site with my portfolio and reference material based on the ideas we’ve discussed by phone. Your input gives me a starting point. Your ideas, along with photos, magazine clippings or other material you have collected, are always helpful in creating just the right design.  

STEP 2:  After the initial meeting, if the client is ready to begin the mural project on an agreed upon date, a 50% deposit is required which secures the start date. The final payment for the mural is due at the completion of the project. If the client chooses to see a preliminary sketch before beginning any painting, there is a $100 deposit, which will then be applied to the cost of the mural project. Please allow 2-5 days for the sketch. 

PRICING:  A mural design ranges from $15-65 per square foot. Example:  A simple design in a 5’ x 6’ area (30 sq. ft.) may range from about $450-$600. Intricate designs requiring more detail are priced at a higher per square foot rate. As a general rule, full-size murals range from $600-800 per day and there is a $450 minimum on most mural projects. 

When pricing I look at the wall surface (rough or smooth), the complexity and detail of the design and the accessibility of the area to be painted.  For scaffolding for ceilings or hard to reach areas an additional fee is charged.  On exterior/outdoor murals, another pricing consideration is priming and finishing. This will be discussed and itemized when the final design and process needed for your mural is determined

The original quote always includes the estimated paint and materials for the project. After the project has been quoted and a deposit made, any design changes requested by the client requiring additional paint, time or equipment will be billed to the client at the completion of the project.

When doing estimates a $15-25 trip charge may apply for distances over 15 miles.

A 75% deposit is charged on commercial projects.  Travel and living expenses are additional on jobs in other geographical areas.
